BHelp Foundation Ltd
Charitable organisation raising funds to help sick and vulnerable children living in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We organise events and gatherings for the Bosnian diaspora to fundraise. In the few years we have been operating (as of June 2026) approx £20,000 has been raised and donated to organisations and individuals in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Banja Luka and Mostar.
Bosnian Genocide Educational Trust
Founded in 2020 by Smajo Beso OBE, a Bosnian genocide survivor based in Newcastle, BGET educates about the Bosnian genocide, campaigns for it to join the UK National Curriculum, and documents the history of the UK Bosnian community.
Most Mira (Bridge of Peace)
UK and Bosnian charity founded by Kemal Pervanic, a survivor of the Omarska camp living in England. Runs youth arts festivals, theatre workshops and peacebuilding programmes around Prijedor, and is building the Most Mira Peace Centre in Kevljani.
Remembering Srebrenica
Birmingham-based national charity founded in 2013 that organises Srebrenica Memorial Day commemorations across the UK and runs the Lessons from Srebrenica education programme. It has educated around 250,000 young people and works closely with the UK Bosnian community.
